Unsubscribe from FYI and Forum ListServ
The FYI listserv is intended for non-business related email messages for the University of Michigan-Dearborn staff and faculty. The Forum listserv is for staff and faculty who wish to participate in ongoing discussions about campus issues. Membership is optional. To remove yourself from one or both of the list(s), please follow the directions below.
- Open a web browser such as Mozilla, Netscape, or Internet Explorer..
- In the URL or location field type directory.umd.umich.edu/ds/search.
- When the "University of Michigan-Dearborn Directory Services" page appears, click on the Authentication button.

4. The following screen will appear. Type in your Uniqname. Click on Continue.

5. The following screen will appear. Type in your Dearborn password. Click Continue

6. The following screen will appear confirming your authentication. Click on My Account.

7. The following mail management screen will appear. Click Mail List Configuration. Check the box(es) to exclude your email account from the FYI and/or Forum mail list(s). Click the Change button to submit your request.
NOTE: You must click the Change button before exiting the screen or your record will not be updated.

8. The Screen will then confirm that the change has been made.

9 After you click the Change button, your removal from the FYI and/or Forum list(s) will be effective within 24 hours. Close your browser by clicking in the X in the upper right corner of the window.
