Problems Resolved with Box Sync App

For those who use M+Box for storing files and documents, Box Sync is an app you can install on your desktop that allows you to more easily edit files on your local computer, or when you are offline.  Recently, some people using Box Sync with their M+Box accounts experienced a brief service disruption that left them unable to access files on the local app.  ITS-Ann Arbor found the problem was related to the Single Signon (SSO) setting.  They emailed instructions for correcting it to people who had been affected.

Box is in the process of releasing their new Box Sync 4.0, which is currently available in public beta.  It is a completely new version, written from the ground up, and offers significant improvements over the known limitations of Box Sync 3.  In order to be ready for Box Sync 4.0, make sure you are first on the most current release of Box Sync 3.  Box Sync 4.0 will be automatically delivered to users who already have the latest version of Box Sync 3 installed on their desktops.
