Accessing Your Home Directory
All students have 1 GB of storage space for documents and setting up an University webpage. If you click on the My Computer icon on the desktop, you will see the H: drive set up to access your Unix home directory with your Uniqname. Files and documents can be saved here for access in labs across campus or later at home.
To access this space off campus you will need an Internet connection and a secure file transfer application such as ssh, scp, or sftp.
