If you have been moved to Zimbra, and wish to continue to Thunderbird the settings become:
Incoming Server - zmail.umd.umich.edu, port 993, SSL
Outgoing Server - smtp.umd.umich.edu, port 587, TLS

Incoming server - mail.umd.umich.edu application will automatically set the port and security
Outgoing server - smtp.umd.umich.edu application will automatically set the port and security
If you are a student and have been moved to Zimbra mail the settings are:
