On-Call Hours
ITS staff is on-call every day from 7:00 am to 12:00 midnight to handle problems with the network and major campus systems. If you need to report a problem between 12:00 midnight and 7:00 am, contact the UM-Dearborn Campus Safety Department at (313) 593-5333 and they will relay the message to ITS. Current schedules and contact information are sent directly to the Campus Safety department and UMD technical staff.
When a problem is noted, call the primary on-call person first, leaving a message if necessary. They will respond by phone within 15 minutes. If there is no response, contact the backup staff person. The primary on-call person will attempt to assist by phone. If needed, they will report to the work site to diagnose and resolve the problem. If the primary on-call person cannot resolve the problem, they will contact backup staff as needed.
NOTE: Please contact ITS on-call staff when you need to report a major network or system problem. If you need assistance with an individual workstation or network connection, contact the Helpdesk and the next available technician will address your request during regular business hours.

WEEKENDS & EVENINGS - to contact the ITS on-call person:
- Call (313) 593-HELP [593-4357] and listen to the voicemail message for a number where you can reach the on-call staff.
