Forwarding Your Email
All faculty, staff, and students at UM-Dearborn are provided with a University email account. The address uses your uniqname – uniqname@umd.umich.edu. This is your official University email address which is used by schools and departments to send important information. You are responsible for accessing your UMD email account on a frequent and consistent basis to stay informed about important University business, including information regarding your student account, financial aid, registration, grades, or correspondence from faculty. You have the option of forwarding your email from the University address to an alternate personal address. However, doing so may place you at risk of not receiving critical University communications.
