Lab Counselors:
ITS employs student counselors in the general purpose computer labs located in the Computing Wing and Mardigian Library. They are expected to monitor activity in the labs, assist users with general questions, identify hardware and software problems, and work with the Helpdesk as needed. The labs are open during the day, as well as evenings and weekends, which offers a wide range of available work hours. These jobs do not require advanced technical skills, but basic familiarity with computers and the most commonly used software is preferred. Pay rates start at $7.50/hour. Lab Counselor Application
Helpdesk:
The ITS helpdesk employs students that possess more advanced technical skills, including the ability to diagnose problems and perform basic hardware repairs, software installation and upgrades, and other hardware installations. Helpdesk technicians provide customer service to faculty and staff and must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Pay rates start at $10/hour. Helpdesk Application
