Banner Telstar Web for Faculty/Staff

The Telstar-Banner Web page was developed here at UM-Dearborn to provide faculty and staff with easy access to the most common student information and reports. It is not part of the actual Banner system, but draws data directly from Banner.

1. This does not require an additional password. It uses your Dearborn password
2. Access can be obtained by sending an email to telstarreq(at)umd.umich.edu or helpdesk(at)umd.umich.edu. Getting access takes about one week and requires the approval of your Supervisor.

1. Once access is received, Open your web browser.
2. Type https://webapps.umd.umich.edu/telstar/scripts/login.pl in the web address field. [NOTE: the "s" in "https"?.] Click Enter
   
   HINT: Bookmark the site for easy future retrieval.
   
   
3. The authentication screen will appear.
4. Type in your uniqname and Dearborn password.Click .
   
   
   
   
5. The Telstar/Banner Home Page will appear. The list of available reports is under Telstar Reports. Click on the one you wish to see.
